Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their abstracts and extended abstracts in accordance with the guidelines below.
All submissions must use the official BAS 2026 templates and be uploaded via the online submission system by the specified deadlines.

Important Notes

• Abstract submission deadline: 31 Jan 2026.
• All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality and relevance.
• The extended abstract should not exceed 3 pages in length.
• Selected papers will be recommended for publication in special issues of Building Simulation.
• Best student paper awards will be announced during the conference.

Prize

You could select oral presentation and poster after your paper is accepted. So theoretically you could win Best Paper & Best Oral Presentation or Best Paper & Most Popular Poster

Best Paper

• 10% of submissions
• Selected by review score + scientific committee member vote
• 1000HKD + Certificate
• Recommended for the International Journal of Building Simulation

Best Oral Presentation

• 1 per session
• Selected by the session chairs
• 500HKD + Certificate

Most Popular Poster

• 10% of posters
• Selected by participant vote
• 500HKD + Certificate
